If you are going to build a Network Marketing organisation there are a few things I can share with you after spending 10 years in the industry figuring this out.
When you are fresh in the industry we believe in everyone and try to help and motivate everyone. We wind up spending hours and hours of wasted time on the wrong people.
Ever experienced that?
People tend to recruit 4 or 5 people and spend all of their time training and re-training those people because you so badly want them to see what you see. But Aunty Mary or your next door neighbour well they just don’t seem to get it. They always have an excuse about why they can’t attend an MLM training or why they can’t do anything … you know the story.
This is a big mistake most of us have made or will make and that is to work with people who need it instead of the people who deserve it.

The best thing you can remember when growing your MLM team is to go where the fire is not where the drought is.
It’s easy when you start to grow a big team to get caught up in the management of everyone instead of focusing on what actually produces results.
Personal recruiting and duplicating that are the only things that is considered productive of your time. Yes you need to hold meetings and webinars to give training to everyone on a mass scale but you need to spend the majority of your time working with those who actually doing something.
How do you figure this out?
By results. Potential means nothing. I have seen so many times over the years people with ‘potential’ do absolutely nothing. Potential does not build your team or pay the bills. If you have five people doing nothing the answer is not to keep pushing them but rather lead by example, and go out and recruit more people and continue to do what you want your team to do. Eventually some will want to follow and in the meantime you will be sifting and sorting to find your new leaders and builders.
